Bristol Festival of Photography 2014

The third biennial Bristol Festival of Photography features almost 60 exhibitions and events across the city, from solo shows of individual photographers to photography workshops in old and new processes at Bristol Folk House and St Pauls Darkrooms, photographic and projection based performances, a Victorian Photo Parlour (have your portrait taken 19th century style) plus pop-up art installations, an itinerant exhibition (in a suitcase), and innovative events combining photography, creative writing and fine dining!

There are also plenty of ways to get actively involved – help turn Bristol into an outdoor exhibition space with Guerrilla Galleries, check out the documentary film Looking for Light: Jane Bown and Jim Jarmusch’s SMOKE at the Cube Microplex, learn about a range of alternative processes and find out more about playing back images from vinyl records!
